Provide customers with convenient remote connectivity to the Government Virtual Private Network and IP connectivity between any private network and the Government Virtual Private Network.
Service Components
Remote Access (VPNC):
- Access configured to authorised services within specific VPNs.
- Provision of connectivity from a fixed line / LAN environment from one VPN into another.
- Caters for the mobile workforce as it can be used from any place that the client is able to connect to the Internet.
Remote Access (APN):
- Providing authorised access into the entire VPN.
- Provides remote access to VPNs
- Caters for the mobile workforce as it can be used from any place that there
- is signal on the cellular network the client is using for their APN service.
Common Assess Point (CAP):
- Private peering point for the entire NGN.
- Access only configured to authorised services within specific VPNs.
- Maintenance of the CAP routers and any data cables attaching the routers to the
- Telco devices which facilitate the connections.
